  Old school English pub with a fab seafood stall outside... Could do with a bit of a refurb and the removal of a few tables in the back bar area but really friendly and great location to end a walk along the seafront

  Poor value for money. Food is okay but well over priced. £6 for a baguette (cheap frozen one) with no salad and a few measly crisps. £3.75 for a few chips with cheese. Really, better value in London. Staff were miserable, avoid if you have children.

  Good food friendly staff nice outdoor area with great children's play area and dog friendly.
  Food prices are reasonable and value for money with a wide choice of food if you like fish and would like something substantial without feeling too guilty I would recommend the fisherman's basket.

  Was busy and got served uncooked cod, sent it back expecting a fresh cooked one, got the original opened up cod returned after a microwave blast, which we refused to accept. Waiter came back 10mins later with our money instead of new properly cooked fish. Absolutely shocking service, almost raw (large) cod portion in centre. First time ever I've sent fish back to a chippy restaurant it's not difficult cooking cod!
